Things You Need To Know & Frequently Asked Questions

What do I have to do?
  • All you need to do is bring the cake! We take care of the rest.
How do I book a party?
  • Bookings can be made over the phone or in person.
  • Office hours are 10.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 10.00am – 12.30pm Friday.
  • Inspections are available during these hours upon request.
  • Available dates and times can be secured with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit.
  • Once you have booked we will mail you out written confirmation, your receipt & party invitations.
  • We do not hold party dates and times without a deposit.
When are parties available?
  • Fridays
  • Saturdays
  • Sundays
  • Other times upon request
Are invitations included in the price?
  • Yes. However we charge $5 postage or if you want to pickup they are free.
Are Lolly Bags included?
  • Lolly Bags can be purchased for $5.00 per bag.
What age is best suited for the Circus Factory?
  • Ideal destination for ages 1-14 years.
  • We cater the activities of each party to suit the requirements of your guests.
  • Activities at toddler parties differ greatly from that of Tween parties.
How are the parties run?

High Tea Parties
  • Two dedicated party hosts will run your party from beginning to end.
  • 2 hour parties enjoy 1 hour 20 mins of play time.
  • Enter the party room to be presented with 40 minutes of High Tea food and cake cutting.
  • A short game and big ‘thank you’ will conclude your party experience.
Other Parties
  • Three dedicated party hosts will run your party from beginning to end.
  • 2 hour parties enjoy 1.5hrs of play time.
  • Kids are supervised when using the trapeze and aerial lyra.
  • Enter the party room for 30 minutes of snacks and cake cutting.
  • A short game and big ‘thank you’ will conclude your party experience.
Can I book a tween party for the middle of the day?
  • Tween parties are available during the day, though we recommend in the afternoons.
What does the Party Room include?
  • Our fully serviced party rooms include; Table settings, table centers, helium balloons, cutlery, cups & plates, napkins.
  • Knife to cut the cake.
  • Lighter for the candles.
  • All serving utensils.
  • Café seating is available for adults.
What food is included in the price?
  • Snack food is provided for kids at your party.
  • Fairy Bread, Chicken nuggets, hot chips, pop-corn, and drinks.
Do I have the option to self-cater?
  • Yes, self-catering for children is free.
  • Jelly, fairy floss and chewing gum are not permitted in the venue.
  • Peanut products are strictly prohibited.
  • Self-catering for adults incurs a surcharge of $33.00 per 10 adults.
  • People wishing to self-cater are requested to discuss your requirements when booking.
  • Confetti, fairy dust & party poppers are not permitted.
Can I purchase food for the adults?
  • Yes, a range of platters, coffee carts and soft drinks are available through Circus Catering.
Can my guests purchase coffee & tea by the cup?
  • Sorry, no. We only sell coffee and tea by the pot. Please go to Circus Catering to find out more.
What does ‘Exclusive Use’ Mean?
  • Exclusive Use means you are entitled to the exclusive use of our venue for the duration of your party. You will not be required to share the venue with the general public.
How long before my party am I able to arrive?
  • You are welcome to arrive no sooner than 10 minutes prior to the start of your party.
Can we remain in the venue after our party time has expired?
  • Sorry, no… Due to our ‘Exclusive Use’ policy, we are not open to the general public beyond your allocated party time.
  • Please assist our staff by informing your guests that they need to leave promptly at the conclusion of your party.
Can I invite more children?
  • Yes. But it’s more economical to upgrade your party prior to the date.
  • Any additional kids on the day will be charged at $30.00 per child.
Do you charge for adults?
  • No, adults attend for free. However if you plan to invite more than 20 adults per party, then you are required to inform us.
Is the venue suitable for children with special needs?
  • Yes. We are able to secure the venue and welcome the requirements of special needs kids.
Are parents allowed to join in the fun?
  • Yes please. However we request adults not ride on, or play with the circus equipment.
Is there anything else I should know?
  • Upgrading your party package is possible up until the date of your party.
  • Upgrading your party package is not allowed on the day of your party.
  • Downgrading your party package is not allowed after it has been booked.
  • Changing the date and time of your party is difficult. Please be responsible when selecting your date and time.
  • Changing the date and time may incur the loss of your deposit.
  • Any additional children on the day are calculated at $30.00 per head.
  • Siblings of other children at the party are included in the head count.
  • Children under 18 months are not included in the head count unless seated at the party table.
  • Any child who participates in the party activities or uses the party equipment is included in the head count.
